For Immediate Release: Wednesday July 31, 2013 – Las Vegas, NV – The second annual BBW FanFest Trade and Awards Show took place this past weekend at The Tuscany Casino & Suites in Las Vegas with an impressive showing. The Trade show ran Friday thru Sunday and gave fans a chance to get up close and personal with their favorite BBW stars. The sold out awards show with banquet took place on Saturday night sponsored by Plumper Pass (www.plumperpass.com) and was hosted by comedian Vanessa Lawson.
The BBW FanFest Awards Show started with a star studded red carpet that brought photographers and camera crews from around the world to this one of a kind BBW event. PamalaWhat? from the UK covered the show live throughout the weekend as well as a TV Station all the way from Germany. “I am so excited about all the international media coverage we have received for the show. The more people we can get the word out to and get involved with BBW FanFest the greater success we will have each year” said Kari Anthony, Co-Owner.
The BBW beauties shinned on the red carpet coming dressed immaculately for the “Old Hollywood Glam” themed evening. After the red carpet guests enjoyed a buffet style dinner and mingled anxiously awaiting the Awards show. Comedian Vanessa Lawson who hosted the show for the second straight year kept everyone laughing all night long. Entertainers Fuego Fusion treated the audience to two separate performances throughout the show.
Some of the show highlights included Norma Stitz receiving the BBW Fan Fest Hall of Fame award followed by a touching speech about acceptance in the BBW Community. Wendy Williams took home the award for Specialty Niche Performer of the Year, the charismatic Benji Strokes won Male Performer of the Year and all the way from the UK, Busty Cookie took home the award for BBW of the Year. Taking home her very first award for Director of the Year, Country Trouble, was genuinely shocked and humbled when giving her acceptance speech.
The two big winners of the night both winning two awards were Lexxxi Luxe and Plumper Pass. Lexxxi Luxe won BBW FanFest Fan Favorite voted on by the fans and Solo site of the year for her website http://www.lexxxibbw.com/. Plumper Pass who was the BBW FanFest Awards show sponsor also scored two wins for Studio of the Year and Multi-Girl Site of the Year for www.plumperpass.com.
