PHONE SEX AND SOCIAL MEDIA: A MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN

NAUGHTY TWEET & MYPHONESITE INTEGRATE VOIP PHONE TECHNOLOGY WITH SOCIAL MEDIA

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE – Monday, April 23, 2012 – Las Vegas, NV – The Naughty Tweet Network, parent company to Social Media Powerhouse PornStarTweet.com, and global pay-per-minute phone chat solution MyPhoneSite.com announced today they have joined forces to capitalize on each other’s respective technologies.

The Naughty Tweet Network of sites will closely integrate with the next generation of VoIP technology provided by MyPhoneSite’s platform to bring consumers and adult industry performers together in an intimate way.  The Naughty Tweet Network joins a growing number of companies partnering with MyPhoneSite including OC Modeling.

At the recent AVN Internext panel on Social Media, Pete Housley, CEO of the Naughty Tweet Network, said “The core definition of Social Media is to be social. The Adult Entertainment Industry is required to be more social than many others and that extends to personal interactions between talent and consumers at events, online via webcam and chat, email and more.  Consumers want to KNOW the stars — what kind of coffee they order, their favorite restaurant, etc…”

“For more that 3 years we’ve been bleeding the edge for the Adult Industry in Social Media”, said TJ Little COO of Naughty Tweet.  “While webcam has continued to grow exponentially there is still a unique intimacy and privacy in telephone conversations — it is an important part of being ‘Social’ and the integration of such capabilities with our platform is important to us.”

The two companies are planning to collaborate and develop some unique features for Porn Stars and talent from all Adult Entertainment niches to generate additional revenue through the use of automated Social Media tools; as well as a host of value-add services like the ability for stars to record and get paid for consumer subscriptions to daily wake up voicemails.

“We are delighted to be working with The Naughty Tweet Network, who are masters of their craft.  The combination of our global VoIP platform and their social media skills is a powerful one”, said Marc Jarrett of MyPhoneSite.

“We looked at a number of potential partners in the VoIP space but none offered the flexibility and scalability afforded by MyPhoneSite’s technology”, continued TJ.  “We wanted to endorse and promote a company who was a proud member of the Adult Entertainment Industry and not risk working with companies dabbling in adult as a ‘guinea pig’ while their true aspirations were mainstream. We’re very excited to bring a new aspect to Social Media and to offer new income opportunities for Porn Stars and talent from all aspects of the industry.”

Naughty Tweet Issues Twitter Warning for Adult Industry

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Wednesday, April 18, 2012 – Las Vegas, NV – Naughty Tweet the central site behind the Adult Industry Social Media Powerhouse, PornStarTweet.com, today issued a support statement and warning for the Adult Industry and Adult Performers in compliance with Twitter SPAM rules and guidelines.

On Thursday, April 5th 2012 Twitter filed suit against five separate web tools and providers that allegedly make it easier to spam people on Twitter.  The defendants in the suit are TweetAttacks (tweetattacks.com), TweetAdder (tweetadder.com), TweetBuddy (tweetbuddy.com), James Lucero (of justinlover.info) and Garland Harris (of troption.com), and are allegedly in violation of The Twitter Rules. “Over the past few years Social Media has become an important part of the Adult Industry”, says Pete Housley CEO of the Naughty Tweet Network. “I’ve personally sat on many mainstream and adult industry panels about Social Media and how to use it effectively to promote brand awareness for companies and products as well as performers.  Quite frequently I’ve warned not to SPAM or attempt to cheat the system with shortcuts; such as buying followers or Twitter trains – it defeats the purpose entirely of Social Media and in the end dilutes the value. It has been brought to our attention that some Adult Industry companies and performers are in severe violation of Twitter Rules.  Further that many accounts are under investigation to be suspended or terminated for such violations.”

The Naughty Tweet Network is actively developing methods to detect and penalize accounts who violate the rules established by Twitter; including some new ranking technology, downgrading and possibly delisting accounts found abusing the rules.

“We’re a strong supporter of the Adult Industry; SPAM has done nothing to help this industry only created roadblocks and hurdles for all of us who attempt to run good businesses.  We realize that some may not know the rules and are merely trying to increase their impact through Social Media; which is why we’re issuing this warning”, continued Housley.  “Twitter has been a great resource to the Adult Industry while other networks have censored and blocked Adult; Twitter has rules that are simple and straightforward. It is our responsibility as an industry to not sabotage ourselves and adhere to the spirit and purpose of Social Media.  As a company we wholeheartedly support Twitter and the rules they have set forth and will do everything within our power to see the Adult Industry is allowed to continue to participate and thrive through Social Media.”

Twitter’s made a move to tackle security issues and user fraud recently with its acquisition of security firm Dasient earlier this year, and what it says is its continuously expanding anti-spam team.

A complete rules guide for Twitter is on their website here located here, http://support.twitter.com/forums/26257/entries/18311.  However, some specific areas that apply to and are a concern for the Adult Industry are:

Selling user names: You may not buy or sell Twitter usernames.

SPAM

  • If you send large numbers of unsolicited @replies or mentions in an attempt to spam a service or link;
  • If you repeatedly post other users’ Tweets as your own;
  • If you have attempted to “sell” followers, particularly through tactics considered aggressive following or follower churn;
  • Creating or purchasing accounts in order to gain followers;
  • Using or promoting third-party sites that claim to get you more followers (such as follower trains, sites promising “more followers fast,” or any other site that offers to automatically add followers to your account);

Pornography: You may not use obscene or pornographic images in either your profile picture or user background
