AVN AWARDS RED CARPET LIVE TWITTER PHOTO COVERAGE SERVES 35 MILLION IMPRESSIONS

 

PornStarTweet and AVN Media Network put Face.com API to work at the AVN Awards Red Carpet

 

Monday, January 23, 2012 – Las Vegas, NV — AVN Media Network and PornStarTweet.com joined forces on Saturday January 21, 2012 to provide live photo coverage of the 2012 AVN Awards live from the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, NV – the two companies processed and tweeted more than 800 photos seconds after the biggest stars in Adult Entertainment were photographed… which resulted in 35 Million Twitter Impressions (as measured by SproutSocial.com) from the photos and more than 4.5 Million interactions (ReTweets, Clicks or Favorited) over the next 48 hours.

 

Using a Facial Recognition API provided by Face.com; development partner Joe Cabe (aka Webmaster Joe,  @webmasterjoe) and PornStarTweet.com created the application which processed more than 1500 raw photos shot by Adult Industry veteran photographer Rick Garcia (@industrybyrick) during the 2½ Hour AVN Awards Red Carpet; while industry vet, Gerald Saunders (@GeraldSaunders), assisted in confirmation of photos and training the application prior to and during the event.

The results here were simply amazing – this is only the beginning for this technology.”

 

The core technology being developed by PornStarTweet and Webmaster Joe will soon be available to Adult Industry photographers at no cost which will produce XML feeds and Tagged Galleries integrated with social media. An unnamed consumer facing product, based on the technology, will be available in Q2 2012.

 

“The goal of this project was to address an ongoing identity issue for photographers and media outlets alike in the adult industry”, said Webmaster Joe. “We plan on offering the product and data capabilities to photographers and media outlets shortly to be able to bulk process and tag images; a previously tedious process should become simpler and more accurate – getting the images from events to stars and fans more quickly than ever before.”

Tay Stevens hits the Road and hopes to take home the Gold!

Friday, January 06, 2012 – Webcam Superstar Tay Stevens (www.taystevens.com) announced today she is hitting the road for the next few weeks to meet fans, party with industry friends and hopefully to take home an award for Xbiz Cam Girl of the Year.

2011 was a roller-coaster year for 10 year web cam veteran Tay Stevens, who was diagnosed on Christmas Day 2010 with Cancer, to only days later received the coveted “Best Cam Babe of the Year” Award from FreeOnes.com .  Tay has maintained her status as a top producing Web Cam host, attended numerous industry expos to meet fans; all the while battling Cancer on all fronts.  The year culminated in her being nominated for an XBiz Award for Cam Girl of the Year.

In a recent open letter to the XBiz Nominating Committee Tay said, “I have never changed who I was, I am the same on camera as I am off camera and I provide my fans with a fun amazing time regardless of what is going on in my life. My having cancer opened my eyes and taught me that life is short. I have fought many battles, struggled through the tough times, and will continue to fight!”

Originally known for her work as a “Busty BBW” Tay Stevens is no stranger to adversity; she went toe to toe with a serious obesity health problem in 2006. Her dedication, hard work, plus 3 hours of exercise a day resulted in her amazing loss of more than 180 pounds!

“Every day is a challenge as I fight for my life through the doctor’s visits, chemotherapy and radiation. I know I’m not alone in my travels on this world – there are many, many more people with harder lives and higher mountains to climb — I am thankful to have found an industry that embraced me and I it; to have fans and friends who have become my foundation.”

KARAOKE XXX gets SUPERCHARGED at Las Vegas’ Crown Nightclub

Tuesday, January 03, 2012 – Rebecca Love, Naughty Tweet, and Las Vegas’ Crown Nightclub are proud to announce the 3 year old “Karaoke XXX” is kicking off the New Year by moving the highly successful event to the brand new “Kings Room” at Crown Nightclub, inside the Rio All Suite Hotel & Casino, starting January 9th, 2012 with special guest host, Jenny Hendrix.
